The Aries-Libra Polarity is a Relationship Axis, where Aries represents "self" and Libra represents "other". Where Aries is about self-assertion, Libra is about compromise. The energy of the Libra Sun is the awareness of the need for relationships and all that comes with maintaining them- Compromising, Negotiating, Graciousness, and Balancing.

The Aries Moon, on the other hand, is Self-assertive, Leading and Personally Courageous.

​

This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between meeting our personal needs and tending to the needs of a significant other, and between independence or autonomy and dependence or companionability.

​

The Libra Sun is diplomatic, equality-minded, and fair-minded. The Aries Moon, however, values authenticity over tact, and is energized by independent efforts. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict. Neglecting either end of the Aries-Libra axis will surely backfire on us.

 

Ideally, a balance should be found between the two energies, and this is what the Full Moon invites us to do. This Full Moon is about emotional declarations. Something has been building inside of us, likely of a personal nature, and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out.

 

Over the next two weeks, we will discover what this declaration means for us. For now, we can't sit on our feelings. We need to express them.

The Full Moon this month illuminates the conflict between "me" and "you", and between autonomy and sharing.

With the Moon full and bright in the sky, symbolic "illumination" occurs in our own lives. However, these new feelings and revelations are emotional ones, as there is a sense of emotions bursting forth into our consciousness. It's time to express ourselves, and to let things out of our systems.

Of course, we might want to exercise some care while doing so, knowing that what is coming out of us is new and not particularly rational as yet.

Some sort of crisis (which can be a crisis of consciousness) or sudden awareness of a lack in our lives provides us with a golden opportunity to explore our emotional needs. Relationships may be challenged, broken, or strengthened dramatically at this time.

 

Our discovery is emotionally charged and dramatic. Epiphanies are likely at this time as we become acutely aware of our lack. This understanding can propel us into positive action, although there can be some level of chaos initially.

This Full Moon can reinforce the "battle" between the need for companionship and the need for independence. There can be a sense of surprise, shock, or frustration involved with our emotional discoveries. Certainly, there can be a strong urge, or need, to break free from old patterns in our relationships.

​

When you have been passive and given power away to a person, situation or past trauma – you do not really feel like you can use this archetype to its full potential. Therefore, it is recommended to see where you can take few steps towards practicing the quality of courage, confidence and using your personal power with compassion and wisdom.

​

The potential:  A feeling greater sense of courage, confidence and ability to take charge or initiative to take care of personal needs and well-being. From a Soul-level perspective, one is able to take action with assertiveness, compassion and wisdom guiding the way.

​

Psychic sensitivity, spiritual instincts and emotional connectedness are aroused as the environment becomes a little unstable. This unstable environment occurs because there is change in the electromagnetic energy that affects us mentally and neurologically. There will be some stress as blockages will begin to crumble and then there will be a feeling of freedom. The good news is that creative and artistic qualities will be discovered as you let go of beliefs that don’t correspond with your current reality!! A new hairdo, new clothes, a NEW YOU emerges!! Keep in mind that all of this is good and part of your pattern of growth as you take on a proactive approach to living. You will finally drum up the courage to make necessary life corrections!
